Tinder Photography started with a simple observation: the people who get the most matches aren’t necessarily the most attractive. They’re the ones with the best photos.
We set out to level the playing field. By combining photography craft with data from hundreds of real dating profiles, we’ve built a process that consistently delivers results, not just pretty pictures.
Everything we do is guided by three principles that keep our clients coming first.
We tell you what actually works, not what sounds good. Our advice is grounded in real data from real clients, never fluff.
We actually want you to find someone great. Every session is personal. We invest in your comfort, your confidence, and your outcome.
Dating apps change. Trends shift. We constantly analyse new data to make sure our approach stays ahead of what’s working right now.
Tinder Photography is one person: me. I’m Talib, and I’ve been shooting dating profile photos in downtown Toronto since 2018.
When you book, you get me for the whole thing. I plan the shoot with you, coach you through poses and expressions on the day, keep track of which photos actually perform on the apps, and edit every image myself. No hand-offs, no assistants, no studio.
Most of my clients have never done a photoshoot before. Making that easy is the job.
After noticing how dramatically better photos changed friends’ results on dating apps, we started offering shoots informally. The difference was undeniable.
We began systematically tracking client outcomes: match rates before and after, photo styles, locations, expressions. A data-driven process emerged.
CBC covered our approach twice, in a news feature and a radio segment, and bookings surged. The concept resonated far beyond Toronto.
We’ve now worked with over 500 clients across Toronto. Our process keeps improving with every session, and we’re proud to have helped hundreds of people build genuine connections.
